Anyone that knows me personally knows about my love for the Dallas Mavericks. When Mark Cuban announced he would host a design contest for the next Dallas Mavericks jersey my two biggest passions Mavs and creative design got set on a collision course. The result was something pretty spectacular.
This design was a Top 10 finalist out of thousands of entries from all over the world in the very first crowd-sourced NBA jersey design contest hosted by Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban via Crowdspring. The design was picked by a number of news outlets as the best design of the finalists including NBA/Hoops/Fashion magazine Dime Magazine. The contest process narrowed down more than 1,000 entries to just 10 and then to one winner based on fan vote last summer. The Skyline was selected by a fan vote to be the new Dallas Maverick jersey for the 2015 season.

Another Gearbox Software project I had an opportunity to be apart of. I'm a a huge fan of both Ridley Scott and James Cameron so it was insanely cool to work on this project.
Described as a true sequel to James Cameron's film, the story of Aliens: Colonial Marines takes place after the events of the second film, Aliens, and sometime after the events of Alien 3, as the cryotubes containing Ellen Ripley, Corporal Hicks, Newt, and the android Bishop had ejected from the Sulaco. At PAX East 2012, Gearbox Software's Community Manager confirmed that the game is considered an official part of the Alien franchise's canon by 20th Century Fox. Much of the main plot was written by Battlestar Galactica writers Bradley Thompson and David Weddle. The story is told through the eyes of Corporal Christopher Winter, a Colonial Marine who is part of a search and rescue team sent to investigate the U.S.S. Sulaco in search of Ellen Ripley, Corporal Dwayne Hicks, and the rest of the missing marines who were dispatched to LV-426. The Sulaco, and the derelict alien spacecraft from Aliens as well as LV-426 itself will all serve as environments in the game, as well as other locations.

1Man Agency remixed the track 5th Element for acclaimed producer and artist J Rhodes as well as redesigned the Vintage Rhodes branding and website.

Another project I was lucky enough to be able to be apart of at my time at Gearbox software. This was my favorite out of all the games I've worked on because it was completely conceptualized and developed internally at Gearbox so the creativity was running rampant. It was amazing to see all the new ideas come to life every morning. I also got the opportunity to bounce a few of my own personal script ideas and get pointers from the brilliant writers for the game Anthony Burch and Mikey Newman.

ROBERT ’SPUT’ SEARIGHT LAUNCHES RSVP RECORDS.
Robert ‘Sput’ Searight and Ropeadope announce the launch of RSVP Records, a new LA based label headed by Sput Searight and connected to the Ropeadope family of labels. The first release on RSVP will be the debut album from Ghost-Note, the drum and percussion based project from Sput and his Snarky Puppy compatriot Nate Werth. Fortifiedis scheduled for release on October 16, 2015.
Robert Searight is held in high esteem by his peers and fans alike.
